BREAKING: Cow Claims Thomas Massie Offered Her $5k in ‘Cow Money’ to Hide His Popeyes Love

WASHINGTON — A veteran Chick-fil-A spokes-cow has leveled explosive new allegations against Thomas Massie, claiming the congressman not only carried on a clandestine inter-species romance but actively tried to buy her silence after she was fired for expressing support for a rival chicken chain.

Cynthia “Moo Moo” West, a longtime Chick-fil-A mascot recognizable by her “Eat Mor Chikin” sign and black-and-white Holstein patterning, told reporters she was terminated after she was caught praising Popeyes’ chicken sandwich during an internal brand loyalty session.

“Management said it was disloyalty,” Moo West stated flatly. “I merely observed that Popeyes has superior seasoning and a better value proposition. Apparently that’s a fireable offense in today’s polarized poultry environment.”

According to West, her troubles escalated after she ended a personal relationship with Rep. Massie, whom she met when the libertarian lawmaker began making frequent, low-profile visits to her Chick-fil-A location following his wife’s passing in 2024.

“Tom told me he respected cows with principles,” she said. “We had an understanding. Then one night he tried the Popeyes sandwich I brought him. He looked me dead in the eye and whispered, ‘This is better.’ That was the moment everything changed.”

West claims that when she filed a complaint over her termination, Massie arranged a private meeting at a Cracker Barrel in Kentucky and offered her $5,000 in “cow money” from his farm in exchange for dropping the matter and keeping quiet about his confessed preference for Popeyes.

“He said it would be better for everyone if we just moved on,” West recounted in a monotone. “I handed the envelope back. I’m not going to be silenced while the American people are being lied to about chicken sandwiches.”

The Office of Congressional Workplace Rights reportedly followed up with a formal $60,000 settlement offer that included a nondisclosure agreement. West declined both the cash and the NDA, choosing instead to go public days before Kentucky’s 4th District GOP primary.

Massie’s office had no comment on any bovine relationship, any late-night sandwich tastings, or the alleged $5,000 farm cash transaction, referring inquiries to the House Ethics Committee’s Subcommittee on Agricultural Affairs and Fast-Food Loyalty.

Political analysts describe the story as “deeply strange” but potentially damaging in a heated primary where authenticity and consistency are under scrutiny. One rival campaign advisor was quoted saying, “If he can’t be trusted on chicken, how can he be trusted on anything?”

At press time, Cynthia “Moo” West was reportedly updating her résumé and considering new employment opportunities at establishments that “respect a cow’s right to free speech and better seasoning.”
