I really wish I could stop covering this story because it absolutely creeps me out and the evil just drips off the page each time I look more into it.
But that’s not what we do around here.
We shine a light directly upon evil like this when we find it, so that’s what I have to do.
In case you haven’t been paying attention, a woman admitted to strangling her three small children and now the Internet has raised over $1,000,000 for her parents because….well, because they’re turning her into a type of hero.
It’s really sick.

Did he look into his mother’s face while she strangled the life out of him? Did he have any awareness when he went to the hospital? And I think about the husband and father, and the guilt he must be feeling about not recognizing the danger he slept next to every night. I pray he doesn’t have nightmares about the pain and fear his children went through the last moments of their precious lives. But I have no sympathy, no empathy, for the educated, adult woman who had enough sense to seek help when it suited her, enough sense to send her husband out of the house so he couldn’t stop her, and enough sense to engage in some fake self-harm that wouldn’t really hurt her.
