Nintendo and LEGO announce LEGO Donkey Kong set – Nintendo Everything

Nintendo and LEGO are extending their partnership for LEGO Donkey Kong, it’s just been revealed.

A brief teaser was just posted on the Nintendo Today app. Very little was shown, however. The 19-second clip only states that the set is “rolling soon”.

The Nintendo and LEGO partnership has been going strong since 2020. The two sides started out by releasing Super Mario products, but we’ve seen additional franchises enter the fray since then including Animal Crossing and The Legend of Zelda. We’ve even seen a very neat recreation of the original Game Boy.

Donkey Kong himself has experienced a renaissance of sort as of late. Last year, Nintendo shipped Donkey Kong Bananza on Switch 2.

What are you hoping to see from the upcoming LEGO Donkey Kong set? If you have any thoughts, share them with us via the comments section below.
