Hasan Piker has spent years building one of the biggest left-wing audiences on the internet, lecturing millions of young viewers from his Twitch stream about politics, morality, and the failures of the right.
A new exclusive report says the man behind the brand looks very different in private.
The New York Post published a lengthy investigation Tuesday alleging that Piker’s offline behavior is, in the paper’s words, “seedy” and “sex-obsessed,” and at odds with the progressive image he sells to his fans.
The Post laid out the report in a post on X:

According to the paper, sources who know Piker described a pattern of behavior that included soliciting nude photos, keeping crude rankings of women, and maintaining separate hardware for adult content.
The New York Post described the allegations this way:
He may be the Communist darling of left-wing livestreaming, but when the cameras are off, the real Hasan Piker is shallow and sex-driven, sources claim.
Although he recently debuted a more serious image, donning spectacles and suits for his broadcasts, those close to the 34-year-old told The Post he’s still a pervy, porn-obsessed frat boy — impulses they say get in the way of him ever realizing his goal of making it in the mainstream.
“Off camera he is very stiff and impersonal. I can’t tell how much of what he says he actually believes. He definitely leverages it to creep on women,” a former pal told The Post.
Sources noted Piker regularly boasts about receiving nude photos from fans and how he claims to watch porn on a laptop dedicated to that purpose propped up on his chest so he can “still see” his penis.
Piker — who this week was banned from speaking in the UK over his extreme leftwing views — was born in New Jersey but grew up in Istanbul, Turkey, where his parents hail from.
When he’s not railing against US imperialism, showing his support for China or Cuba or saying he’d vote for terror group Hamas over the Israeli government, Piker solicits nudes from his female fans, according to a streamer he previously worked with, pictures he apparently revels in showing off to others.
YouTuber Mizkif also claimed he had seen hundreds of nudes on the host’s phone. Piker did not return The Post’s requests for comment for this article.
The report leans on accounts from people the paper says have personal knowledge of Piker’s conduct.
Those sources, as quoted by the Post, describe a public figure whose real interests run far from the political crusading that built his following.
The stakes are bigger because Piker is one of the most-watched political streamers in the country, with a massive young audience and growing ambitions to be taken seriously in mainstream media circles.
That ambition is exactly what the report calls into question.

The accusation cuts directly at Piker’s public pitch.
He has positioned himself as a voice of conscience for young progressives, while the Post’s sources describe a private life far uglier than the image projected on camera.
Piker has built a brand out of brushing off criticism from the right, and the allegations in the Post’s report have not been proven in court.
Still, for an influencer whose appeal rests heavily on authenticity, this is the kind of report that follower counts and livestream bluster cannot easily bury.
