Alyssa Farah Griffin shamed her “The View” co-hosts over their initial support of far-left Maine Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Platner was forced out of the Maine Senate race after he won over 70% of the vote in the state’s Democratic primary amid new allegations of rape.
During Thursday’s show, Farah Griffin said,“I don’t know that I’m convinced either party puts up the best people. I’m just going to be honest.”
“Like I love you guys, but a lot of you guys defended a guy with the Nazi tattoo who is credibly accused of a number of things.”
Her co-hosts tried to push back with Joy Behar saying, “Don’t look at me. I did not.”
Sunny Hostin jumped in, adding, “I did, but I didn’t know most of the background.”

The View has been one of the most vocal mainstream daytime shows in support of the #MeToo movement. However, recent political discussions, such as Platner, have drawn accusations of selective application when it comes to Democrats.
Hostin even suggested in a prior episode of the show, while knowing about at least some of the accusations swirling around him, she would still vote for him.
“If I lived in Maine I would have… plugged my nose and I would have voted for him anyway.”
For Democrats, his Nazi tattoo was not a dealbreaker.
Despite the tattoo, questionable Reddit posts and concerns about his treatment of women, Platner had the support of Democrat leadership including Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who even appeared with him at multiple rallies and stood by him through earlier controversies, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) who also campaigned with him, Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA), and Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), who is facing controversies of his own.
