GTA 6 PS5

Update #2 []: A fourth clip of GTA 6 gameplay has been posted online, this time featuring more driving. Interestingly, the song playing on the radio is Sports Car by Tate McRae, which was released at the start of 2025. This suggests the gameplay is from a more recent build.

The video sees Jason driving about and then tasing some NPCs. We also see roughly 15 seconds of a cutscene featuring Jason having a beer with someone out on a boat.

Update #1 []: A third clip of GTA 6 gameplay, taken from an in-development build, has been published online, and it sees Jason inside a strip club. He’s seen talking to a few NPCs, all the while receiving multiple WhatUp! messages.

Further, the group claiming responsibility for the leaks has made demands of developer Rockstar. It claims to have more footage to leak, and it wants Rockstar to answer for the potential all-digital future of the games industry and “fake” single player DLC, presumably referring to the content exclusive to GTA 6’s Ultimate Edition.

“Publishers should beware. If CyberLeek can reach Rockstar, no one is safe,” CyberLeek, the group reportedly responsible for the leaks, has apparently said. “This is a message to all big corpo: behave, or be the next target.”

Original Story: Multiple videos of what appear to be legitimate GTA 6 gameplay are currently being posted to the Internet by a leaker.

I’ve seen two clips so far: the first depicts Jason at his house from the trailer playing some basketball, and the second features some driving and crimes that attract the attention of the cops. I will not be linking to either video, but they are easily found through social media searches at the time of writing.

Fans are reporting receiving DMCA takedowns from publisher Rockstar, which suggests the videos are real. There’s also an image of what’s claimed to be GTA 6’s full map circulating online. Reportedly, the footage isn’t from a recent build, as it’s suggested it could be taken from as far back as 2023.

In the first clip, Jason is seen leaning over the balcony attached to his house. The player has a quick look around and then jumps down to the ground below — he has a jet ski and a car parked up. Jason then grabs a basketball and a quick tutorial detailing how to throw the ball appears. You have to aim until the rings overlap and then shoot your shot. For a successful dunk, Jason gets a 2% increase to his Focus. The rest of the clip sees Jason continue playing basketball until the ball lands in the water.

In a second clip, Jason is driving on the highway and causing chaos. He crashes into a mail van, and the driver retaliates by crashing into him. Jason gets into a fight with the driver and kills him with the wrench he was holding, which alerts the cops nearby and triggers a two-star pursuit.

On the right side of the screen, a minus symbol and a purple devil (like the emoji) appear, which to me would suggest you’ve lost karma. When Jason is around the back of his car, button prompts for your loadout and storage appear, suggesting you’ll be able to customise multiple loadouts and store things in your car and take them with you. The clip ends with Jason driving away.

The official reveal of an “extended look” at GTA 6 is happening on Netflix next week, and you can learn when and how to watch the presentation through the link.
