Aug. 3 (UPI) — A North Carolina man won a $1 million prize from a scratch-off lottery ticket just two months after collecting a $100,000 prize from another game.
The North Carolina Education Lottery said Sanford resident Oscar Mendoza bought his $10 Jumbo Bucks ticket from the Circle K on South Horner Boulevard in Sanford.
The ticket turned out to be a $1 million top prize winner.
He visited lottery headquarters to collect his prize on Friday, just two months after he previously visited the office to collect a $100,000 prize from a $100,000 Cash Payday scratch-off ticket in May.
