Original: Atari and Nightdive Studios have announced that, starting today, a new Nintendo Switch 2 version of System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster will be available.
The game previously landed on the original Nintendo Switch. The survival horror game features high-resolution models, bonus materials, and cross-play capabilities.

It’s the year 2114 and as you awake from cryo sleep on the FTL ship Von Braun, you are unable to remember who or where you are… and something has gone terribly wrong. SHODAN, a rogue AI bent on the destruction of mankind has taken over and it’s up to you to stop her.

Update: Atari has sent a follow-up email to the press indicating that its initial communication was incorrect. The Nintendo Switch 2 version “will be releasing at a later date”. As an extra tidbit, mouse controls are confirmed.
