Former President Barack Obama reminded Americans on Easter Sunday why he was known as “The Great Divider” during his presidency and why he prompted people to question his faith.

As TGP readers know, Easter is the most holy day for Christians. They use this day to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and his ascension into Heaven three days after he was crucified and descended into Hell.

He died for us all so we could be saved.

Obama posted what, at first glance, appears to be a harmless Easter message wishing people a “joyful holiday.”

“To everyone celebrating Easter, Michelle and I wish you a joyful holiday filled with reminders of the enduring power of faith and hope,” Obama wrote.

But notice what Obama neglected to include? Any mention of Jesus Christ and his Resurrection.

After all, He is the reason for Easter.

X users were in no mood to let Obama off the hook, even on this holy day.
