Why we can’t stop talking about transgenderism

Why we can’t stop talking about transgenderism

Last week, the Department of Health and Human Services unveiled a blockbuster report called “Wolves in White Coats,” documenting immense fraud, illicit profit schemes, and the gross malpractice inherent in so-called youth “gender medicine.”

The latest action from this federal agency comes amid a reckoning in elite sports, as WNBA officials convened to discuss the definition of “woman.” They were forced to do so in light of two male former NBA players, Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White, declaring themselves WNBA prospects based on the association’s eligibility guidelines. Technically, Article XIII of the WNBA’s Collective Bargaining Agreement restricts participation to women, but it does not define “women.”

The men’s actions were decried by perturbed trans activists and their allies as a stunt, while women’s rights advocates and normal, sports-loving Americans everywhere cheered that they had found a hilariously clever way to point out that the manipulative transgender emperor was buck naked.

Truly, we live in a simultaneously evil and profoundly stupid timeline.

Seeing all this news recently — and in light of the high volume of shocked and aghast responses I’ve received about my last article on the past decade of reporting on transgenderism — caused me to reflect on why these issues dominate our discourse, even though so many of us are beyond tired of talking about them.

In my mind, Genspect founder and psychotherapist Stella O’Malley got it exactly right, observing earlier this month in Spiked magazine that the reason the trans issue is spoken of so much is that it is the “clearest lens through which we can study the disintegration of almost every major institution across the Western world.”

For as long as the powers that be deceptively frame the subject along the lines of “it’s not a big deal because it’s only a tiny number of marginalized people who just want to live their lives like everyone else,” it will be billed as a strange, irrational obsession among those of us who keep making noise about it.

But the issue is not small, and it never has been.

Consequential lies, such as “sex is changeable,” which an Australian federal court actually ruled in a major case a few months ago, never stay dormant and narrowly confined. Such blatant untruths demolish and destroy. Contrary to what the mainstream news agencies would have you believe, the scope of the social wreckage is staggering.

When people awaken to that wreckage, what happens is a phenomenon some of us call “peaking” or reaching one’s “peak trans” moment. It is a confusing and gradual, but sometimes sudden process of realizing that the way they had been thinking about this was dreadfully wrong. They have to admit that they’d either misunderstood the issue or had unwittingly cooperated with something horrific. Even if they thought transgenderism was crazy and disagreed with it, they didn’t understand how deep the lies go, nor did they foresee its implications. These realizations often precipitate a greater recognition that they can no longer tolerate it or remain silent. The horror at the enormity of the problem usually intensifies as they learn more, and it is indeed horrifying.

What does “trans” actually entail and mean?

It means that ghoulish doctors will go to work today and chemically castrate and physically amputate the healthy body parts of minor children, teens, and young adults, as has already happened to tens of thousands of them. It means that the mass media engages in despicable reversals and describes an abominable medical scandal as life-saving healthcare, providing a phalanx of journalistic protection around the ghouls doing the castrating.

It means that serial male rapists and murderers are being housed with female prisoners, and it’s perfectly legal per state statutes like California’s SB 132, enacted in 2020. It means porn-sick, fetishistic males with ill motives have a loophole to invade women’s private spaces. It means children are being indoctrinated to believe there are 75 (and counting!) trans and queerified gender options that they can choose from and that anyone who instructs them otherwise is a hateful bigot. Even with the change in the posture of the current federal government, the ideological insanity remains entrenched in elite corridors.

“Trans” entails federal tax dollars being used to do irreversible damage to children’s bodies because hospital personnel falsify medical records with fake endocrine disorder diagnoses, and then fraudulently bill for Medicaid reimbursements. That male boxers in the Olympics can batter women and win gold medals. That countless families have been ripped to shreds and estranged because activists are goading children online to reject their parents if mom and dad don’t go along with their newfound identity. It means that material reality, as we know it, is being rewritten everywhere. It means we’re living through a real-life Orwellian 2+2=5 storyline as we speak. But Orwell’s 1984 was supposed to be fiction!

I could go on and on, but “trans” fundamentally means and yields, in a single word, totalitarianism.

If people cannot see this by now, many normal people are starting to conclude that our society is willfully blind and delusional, insanely foolish, or, worst of all, tacitly (or covertly) supportive of the madness. Diagnose it as the woke mind virus or whatever you want to call it, but it’s as though a sizable swath of our population is consumed with devilish personality disorders.

For those who’ve suffered in unimaginably terrible ways because of these institutionalized lies, as countless people have, the patience is wearing thin.

“How long will you waver between two opinions?” the prophet Elijah asked the people of Israel on Mount Carmel in 1 Kings 18:21, as their society, not unlike contemporary America, was saturated in Baal worship.

As criminal referrals are now being made for the Justice Department to prosecute those who broke the law, as is described in the HHS Wolves in White Coats report, I pray that we waver no longer.

And then, maybe we can finally stop talking about it.
