June 19 (UPI) — An Oklahoma family’s home security camera recorded the moment their dog carried a live armadillo into the house, eliciting panic and screams.
Alycia Napier shared video to social media showing the moment her family dog, Bingo, strolled in through the front door of their Allen home while carrying a live armadillo in his mouth.
The video shows the family erupting into panic on the front lawn, with children running around and screaming.
Bingo, hearing the commotion, comes back outside — but without the armadillo.
Napier said in a second video that the family was able to coax Bingo into retrieving the animal and carrying it back outside.
She said the dog eventually dropped the armadillo, which was last seen scurrying into a neighbor’s yard.
