Watch: ‘Lunge King’ dons 20-pound vest to break two world records

July 1 (UPI) — A New York fitness instructor nicknamed “The Lunge King” earned two more Guinness World Records while wearing a 20-pound vest.

Austin Head, who is originally from Kilgore, Texas, and now works as a fitness instructor in New York, donned a 20-pound vest and performed 71 lunges in one minute and 200 lunges in three minutes to earn a pair of Guinness World Records.

The achievements earned him the titles for the most lunges with a 20-pound pack in one minute and three minutes.

He previously earned the records for the farthest distance traveled by lunge in one hour and the most lunges in an hour in 2024.

Head’s latest record attempts raised $3,200 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights against AIDS.
