Aug. 18 (UPI) — A pig pursuit on the streets of West Hollywood, Calif., was caught on camera before the porcine fugitive was finally captured.
Jamaal Harrison was riding his e-bike Saturday near Fairfax Avenue when he spotted the small pig running through the road.
“I, basically, was riding down the street when I saw what I think is a little puppy, and it’s not a little puppy — that’s a pig,” Harrison told CBS Los Angeles.
Harrison recorded video as he and several other witnesses chased the pig through roads and alleyways. The video, posted to TikTok, shows the pig run between a would-be captor’s legs.
Harrison eventually lost sight of the pig, which was captured later in the day and taken to the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter. Officials said it will be kept on a stray hold until Thursday, and will then go up for adoption if it remains unclaimed by its owner.
