July 9 (UPI) — A Brazilian couple turned their love into a Guinness World Records title by kissing 195 times in 30 seconds.
Renato Bayma Gaia, 32, kissed the face of his girlfriend, Naiara Roberta Ribeiro de Marins, 33, 195 times to break the record for the most kisses in 30 seconds by a pair.
Gaia said the record proves he and de Marins are the “best couple in the world.”
He previously earned the solo Guinness World Records for the fastest time to set up and topple 10 books, 6.68 seconds, and the largest foot rotation (male), 210.66 degrees.
The couple said they are next planning to take on the record for most kisses in one minute by a pair together. That title is currently held by Japanese couple Cherry Yoshitake and Kumiko Shiratori, with a total 277 kisses.
