Warhammer Open events are the greatest gatherings of die-hard Warhammer fans this side of the World Championships, and we’re announcing details for the next three!
Tickets for all of these events will be available from 7pm UK time on 12 June.
Warhammer Open Kraków – 11-13 September 2026
The Warhammer Open series recently visited Europe for the first time, with events in Maastricht and Birmingham – and we’ve got another first for you today. From 11 to 13 of September, Warhammer comes to Kraków in Poland for an incredible weekend of gaming and hobby events, with a focus on Team Warhammer!
You’ll be able to throw down with like-minded Warhammer fans in games of Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and Kill Team, while hobbyists can partake in loads of painting classes and the famous Hobby Challenge. We’ll also have the travelling Warhammer Store with us, so you can pick up the 2026 event miniatures – Cadia Unbroken and Dawner’s Reward – in Poland for the first time, along with loads of other event exclusive, Forge World, direct order, and other Warhammer products.
Warhammer Open Kraków takes place at the incredible International Exhibition and Convention Centre EXPO Kraków, one of the largest event spaces in the country. If you’re looking to qualify for the World Championships in glorious Barcelona, or just want to spend a weekend basking in the Warhammer hobby with your fellow fans, make sure to pick up a ticket!
Warhammer Open Atlanta & Grand Narrative – 20-23 November 2026
In years past, we’ve hosted the World Championships of Warhammer and Grand Narrative as parallel events in Atlanta, USA, but with the Championships now heading to Barcelona in Spain, we have a gap in the schedule from 20 to 23 of November that’s dying to be filled. Introducing: the Warhammer Open Atlanta.
Now, Atlanta will serve as the final official qualifier before the World Championships in December, so if you haven’t secured your place yet, you’ll want to get the carry case out and pack your best. We’ll have tournaments for Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Kill Team to get stuck into.
At the same time, the spectacular Grand Narrative returns to the Hyatt Regency Atlanta for another year of thrilling, immersive gameplay as over 400 commanders translate in-system to make their mark on the lore of Warhammer 40,000. If you’ve never seen the Grand Narrative before, it’s quite simply the best weekend of narrative Warhammer you can imagine, full of costumed players, characterful Lords of War, and unpredictable games flush with story-based objectives that can change at any moment.
This year’s Grand Narrative is called ‘Edge of the Maelstrom’, and we’ll have more information on the story soon, so keep checking back with us here at Warhammer Community to stay abreast of the latest developments.
Warhammer Open Palm Springs – 15-17 January 2027
Lastly – or in a way, firstly – we’re announcing the first Warhammer Open of 2027 right now! Hot on the heels of the holiday season, we’re back in Palm Springs, California, from 15 to 17 January.
This will be the first Warhammer Open event of the new year, so you’ll have a fresh chance to qualify for the next big Championships. As usual, we’ll also have all of our painting classes, Hobby Challenge, and maybe even a few sneak peeks at upcoming Warhammer releases for you to see.
Tickets will be available from 7pm UK time on 12 June, via the above links! If you can’t wait to get your event fix, there are still a few places left for the tournaments at the Warhammer Open Edmonton in just a couple of weeks. We’ll see you there!
And for those keeping track, this will take the number of Warhammer Opens in 2026 to nine! And we have even grander plans for the future, so stay tuned to Warhammer Community for all the latest news and announcements.
