May 4 (UPI) — A Virginia man played an online lottery game on his wife’s birthday and ended up winning her a $986,399 present.
The Fairfax County man told Virginia Lottery officials he was playing online game The Lamp: Dark Arts on his wife’s birthday and scored a $986,399 jackpot.
He said he took a walk with his wife later in the day to give her the news.
“It’s the best birthday present I ever got for my wife,” he said. “It’s truly life changing.”
The man said it took some work to convince her the prize was real.
“I feel like I’m dreaming,” he said.
