US Central Command forces completed a ninth consecutive round of nightly strikes against Iran on Monday, aimed at “holding Iran accountable at the Commander in Chief’s direction.”
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Iranian airstrikes in Jordan left several US servicemembers injured, U.S. Central Command announced on Saturday. Another US service member was also killed in action in Iraq on Saturday.
CENTCOM further announced that US personnel found unidentified remains presumed to be from the missing US service member from an attack on a Jordanian base.
After a roughly three-hour-long mission, CENTCOM released footage from the strikes on Iranian military sites.

CENTCOM said in a press release:
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) successfully completed the ninth consecutive evening of strikes against Iran, July 19, at 10 p.m. ET.
CENTCOM assets targeted Iranian military command centers, air defense and coastal surveillance sites, maritime capabilities, missile and drone launch sites, and communications networks to further diminish Iran’s ability to attack commercial vessels and civilian mariners transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
The U.S. military is holding Iran accountable at the Commander in Chief’s direction. CENTCOM forces remain highly vigilant, focused, lethal, and ready.
On Saturday night, US forces executed a roughly 5 and a half hour mission meant to “swiftly punish Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces who launched attacks against American service members in Jordan,” CENTCOM said.

Meanwhile, the US State Department issued a new travel advisory on Saturday as the war is expected to escalate further as heavy strikes are expected to continue.
President Trump previously threatened to escalate the war further by targeting Iran’s energy, oil, and transportation infrastructure starting this week.
The President has further refused to rule out a ground invasion of Iran and suggested that he would take over Iran’s oil export hub of Kharg Island.
The State Department issued the new worldwide caution advisory, warning of a “complex” security environment, with the potential for unforeseen escalation,” including the targeting of US interests around the world and outside of the Middle East.
