The Madison County Sheriff’s Office announced on Monday that four people have been arrested: Rodney Parker, 21; Roshod Parker, 19; Ladarius Grimes, 21; and Tomorris Person, 18.
Four people have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that took place at a Tennessee park. Three people were killed in the July 19 shooting at Savannah Williamson Park in Denmark, Tennessee, with several others being injured.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office announced on Monday that four people have been arrested: Rodney Parker, 21; Roshod Parker, 19; Ladarius Grimes, 21; and Tomorris Person, 18.
Madison County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch received multiple 911 calls at around 10:34 am on July 19 reporting shots fired at the park. Upon arrival, first responders found multiple people suffering from gunshot wounds. Two victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while a third died at a local hospital. The deceased have been identified as Jeremiah Forbis, Garrian Greer, and Jamarion Burns. The sheriff’s office said a total of 12 people were injured or killed in the shooting.
The sheriff’s office said that two vehicles, a white Nissan Altima and a silver Honda Accord, had been traveling south on Neely Station Road just before the shooting. Investigators found that occupants in the Accord fired multiple rounds into a crowd that had gathered in the park for a party. Some people who had been in the park returned fire.
Rodney Parker was identified as the driver of the Altima, Roshod Parker was identified as a passenger in the Accord, Grimes was identified as the driver of the Accord, and Person was identified as a passenger in the Accord. All four have been charged with three counts each of Felony Murder in perpetration of Attempted First Degree Murder.
