Kill Team hits the headlines with the reptile-riding majesty of the Aeldari Exodites, new terrain kits make it easier to build battlefields in the 41st Millennium, and several former kill teams get their Warhammer 40,000 releases.
Kill Team: Exodite
Kill Team: Exodite brings the nomadic Aeldari back to the 41st Millennium for the first time in decades, as they battle against an invasion of Beast Snagga Orks. Lead a kill team of Exodite Dragon Masters to victory by mastering their fast and durable mounts, and making up for your limited numbers with supreme martial skill.
This box set contains a kill team of five elite operatives – three Dragon Masters and two Drakolithes – plus 10 Beast Snagga Boyz and five Squighog Boyz to use as enemy NPOs in the narrative missions included in the Kill Team: Exodite Dossier. You also get a full set of 88 datacards, an Exodite transfer sheet, and a token sheet with useful markers and movement aids.
Warhammer 40,000 terrain
Every battlefield needs a good bit of scenery, and next week brings a host of ruins and infrastructure to fight over.
The Combat Patrol Battlezone* set gives you 15 pieces of terrain, plus a double-sided board and set of terrain footprints – enough to build an entire Combat Patrol sized battlefield. There’s also stand-alone sets of the Manufactorum Ruins, Capacitor Cluster, and Galvanic Network.
Note that these kits are supplied unpainted. The previously announced ready-painted terrain will come out at a later date.
Kill Team – Spectre Squad
Sneak through the undergrowth with the standalone release of the Astra Militarum Spectre Squad, first seen in Kill Team: Terror on Devlan. These highly effective sharpshooters and infiltration experts are among the best forces available to the Astra Militarum, and know just when to unleash their explosive arsenal on an unwitting foe.
Kill Team – Spectre Squad Datacards
It can be tough to find the rule you’re looking for when the bullets start to fly, so remove that difficulty from the equation with a set of Spectre Squad datacards. You get 40 in total, referencing your rules, ploys, equipment, and operative datasheets – a useful resource if ever we’ve seen one.
Warhammer 40,000 – Standalone kill team boxes
Several Warhammer 40,000 units got their start as dedicated Kill Team kits, and now six of them return as regular multi-part plastic kits to continue the fight in your Warhammer 40,000 army. The Kroot Farstalkers, Navy Breachers, Exaction Squad, Fellgor Beastmen, Raptors*, and Kasrkin can all be added to your collection.
Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – MkIV Tactical Squad
Equip your Space Marines with MkIV Maximus pattern power armour in a new box of 20 Tactical Marines. This reimagining of the classic armour contains enough parts to build two Sergeants, so you can run the squad as two units of 10 or a single unit of 20, and is compatible with all previous weapon upgrade sets. It even comes with a set of vambrace parts for every Space Marine, so you can make the arms included in several of the upgrade sets look more like the classic MkIV design.
Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – MkIV Assault Squad
Take to the skies and carve up your foes with a set of 10 Assault Marines in MkIV Maximus armour, with each member equipped with a bolt pistol and chainsword. You also get a full complement of 10 power lances, so you can build your troops as a Veteran Assault Squad, as well as two power fists and lightning claws for standout squaddies.
Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Combi-weapons and Shotguns Upgrade Set
Arm your Veterans with a wide assortment of powerful combi-weapons thanks to a new upgrade set, which also includes shotguns so you can build close-range specialists and Reconnaissance Squads. In this box you get:
