Earlier this week, we learned about a sneaky maneuver pulled by Secret Service to keep President Trump safe amid threats from Iran.
During his flight out of Turkey last month, President Trump was secretly switched from Air Force One onto a smaller military jet.
Like a plot right out of a James Bond movie, President Trump publicly boarded Air Force One. Then, he snuck out the back into a catering truck, which drove him to a C-32 aircraft.
Later, Secret Service slipped him back onto Air Force One.

Now, more details about this “decoy” Air Force One flight have been revealed.
According to a new report, fighter jets were sent to protect Air Force One on its way from Turkey the U.K.
During this time, members of the press who were onboard the flight were told to keep the shades shut.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent were also onboard the “decoy” flight, while Secretary of War Pete Hegseth accompanied President Trump on the secret C-32 flight.

The “decoy” Air Force One that President Donald Trump was snuck off of was protected by U.S. fighter jets on its flight to the United Kingdom, a senior Trump administration official told Fox News on Wednesday.
The revelation pushes back on media fears the press corps and staff might have been left vulnerable to the perceived threat from hostile actors seeking to strike Trump’s flight out of Ankara, Turkey, last month.
The previously undisclosed security measure adds another layer to the extraordinary precautions surrounding the president’s plane swap, which left the aircraft normally associated with Trump continuing on to the U.K. without him aboard.
The press corps was joined on the “decoy” plane under U.S. fighter jet cover by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and were aware Trump was not on board, the official said.
Staff and members of the traveling press pool had been instructed to keep the window shades closed throughout the flight, preventing them from seeing the fighter escort.
According to a pool report circulated Tuesday, there was little indication at the airport that anything unusual was happening. The press vans were positioned far back in the motorcade, and photographers did not see Trump board an aircraft from their usual position beneath the wing.
White House staff and reporters boarded the original plane as normal, where bags of snack mix bearing the presidential seal were waiting for them.
Once aboard, however, the press was told to keep the window shades down. A Secret Service agent later came to the press cabin to reinforce the instruction, according to the pool report. When a photographer briefly opened a shade, the photographer was quickly told to close it again.
These new details are coming to light after the fake news has been raging for days about the “decoy” flight.
Ever since the original report dropped, the mainstream media has been in an uproar.
Reporters who were onboard Air Force One while President Trump was secretly flown in a separate military jet allege that their lives were put at risk to ensure the president’s safety.
For instance, Jake Tapper fumed about it on social media:
Obviously the life of the president is paramount, and previous White Houses have used deception to protect the president’s life.
But no officials I’ve spoken to have ever before heard of using an AF1 full of WH staff and journalists as a decoy during an imminent threat.

CNN’s Kevin Liptak also complained on-air about the so-called “ruse.”

Secret Service made the right move.
As it turns out, these “reporters” overreacted — just a bit!
They say President Trump used them as bait amid threats from Iran.
But, in reality, they were unknowingly being protected all along by the finest fighter jets in the world.
Once again, the fake news has been proven wrong.
