A major leak has just revealed virtually every important detail about the Pixel 11 series including a breakdown of Tensor G6, some hardware updates the camera, and where Google’s “Pixel Glow” feature might be shown.

Mystic Leaks today posted what they refer to as a “nuke” in terms of Pixel 11 leaks and, while a bit bombastic (ba dum), we can’t really disagree. If accurate, this is a major leak of Google’s next flagship lineup.

That starts with the full spread on Tensor G6 details, the chipset coming in Pixel 11, which the leaker first teased last week. The updated chip will be running on a 1+4+2 configuration using newer ARM C1 cores,
PowerVR C-Series CXTP-48-1536 GPU, Google’s updated Titan M3 security chip, and a MediaTek M90 (
MT6986D) modem. That last bit is notable, as it finally sees Google ditching the Samsung Exynos modems it has been using for years. There’s apparently also a new TPU and a new GXP – that’s Google’s custom image signal processor (ISP).

That last bit probably has something to do with Google introducing new camera hardware on the Pixel 11 series, as the leak details a few new camera sensors throughout the lineup.

The base Pixel 11 will apparently get a new main sensor codenamed “chemosh” which is thought to be a 50MP sensor. Pixel 11 Pro Fold would also get this new sensor. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL, meanwhile, would pick up new “bastet” and “barghest” sensors for the main and telephoto cameras. Details on the specs are not clear, but it’s notable that Google is swapping out hardware at all – it doesn’t happen super often.

Other specs mentioned in the leak include:

1080×2424, 60–120 Hz, 240 Hz PWM, up to 2200 nits

  • Battery:

The leak goes on to mention that the built-in temperature sensor on Pixel 11 Pro models will be going away, with “Pixel Glow” appearing on the actual camera bar. This is described as similar to Nothing’s Glyph feature, with a mockup showing small LEDs alongside the flash.

Finally, it’s also mentioned that Google’s “Project Toscana” face unlock hardware is not debuting in the Pixel 11 series.

Google’s Pixel 11 series is expected to launch in August, with the overall design of each device appearing similar to the Pixel 10 series.

What do you think of these potential specs and changes?
