NPLC Files Bar Complaint Against E. Jean Carroll’s Far-Left Trump-Hating Attorney Roberta Kaplan

E. Jean Carroll admitted that she helped push Democrats to pass an adult survivor’s act so she could sue Donald Trump on her fake rape charges since ethe statute of limitations was expired. She was awarded millions in her dirty case and trial against Donald Trump.

Talk about dirty!

Roberta Kaplan, the dirty attorney representing E. Jean Carroll in her wild and unproven allegations that she was raped by Donald Trump in a high-end department store’s dressing room decades ago. She had no proof, her story did not play out, she had an infatuation with Donald Trump for years, and she could not even point to a time or date that this alleged act took place.

Carroll later admitted she worked with New York Democrats to change the laws temporarily so she could sue Donald Trump for something she said happened decades ago but could not say when. What a crock!

Of course, the liberal courts sided with her and the judge was also a vehement Trump hater who did not allow a fair trial.

Trump attorney Will Sharf described the disgusting lawfare case against Trump.

To make things worse, Judge Kaplan and Robert Kaplan previously worked together at the same law firm. Judge Kaplan was reportedly Roberta’s mentor.

Recently, it was discovered that Roberta Kaplan and her client lied to the jury about far left outside funding for her lawsuit against Donald Trump. The Department of Justice launched a criminal investigation her funding by a Epstein-linked billionaire and her lies during a deposition.

The National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC) on Thursday filed a bar complaint against dirty attorney Roberta Kaplan.

From the NLPC website:

NLPC today filed a complaint with the Attorney Grievance Committee (AGC) of the New York State Supreme Court against Roberta Ann Kaplan for violating the Rules of Professional Conduct regarding the outside funding of E. Jean Carroll’s two defamation lawsuits against President Trump. The lawsuits were funded by left-wing billionaire Reid Hoffman through a nonprofit called American Future Republic.

The first suit was filed in 2019 for defamationafter she authored a book titled What Do We Need Men For?, which was excerpted by New York magazine. Carroll made the claim that Trump sexually assaulted her in a dressing room at the Bergdorf Goodman department store during the 1990s. Carroll claimed she was defamed when Trump denied her allegations and called her a “whack job.”

She was awarded $83.3 million by a jury. In the second lawsuit filed in 2022, she was awarded $5 million. On June 29, the Supreme Court declined to hear Trump’s appeal of the $5 million award. Trump is also appealing the $83.3 million award.

The basis for the complaint is that Kaplan failed to inform Trump’s lawyers and the court when she knew that her client, Carroll, provided false information during a deposition. Other allegations include whether the contingency fee she charged Carroll plus the legal fees she was getting from Hoffman constituted charging “excessive fees” and thus violated New York ethics rules.

In October 2022, Carroll was asked under oath whether “anyone else [is] paying your legal fees,” to which she answered “No.” As the complaint notes, “At that moment, Kaplan knew that answer was false but waited almost six months later until the eve of the trial to correct the record by informing opposing counsel and the court that Hoffman had funded the lawsuits.” Hoffman has a near-pathological obsession with Trump and had a close relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.  As the complaint noted, it’s not clear Ms. Kaplan informed her client of Hoffman’s association with a sexual convict and his efforts to rehabilitate Epstein’s reputation to get Carroll’s informed consent to use Hoffman’s group to fund her lawsuits.

“Roberta Kaplan’s coverup of the outside financing of E. Jean Carroll’s lawsuits by billionaire Reid Hoffman for six  months and her excuses for doing so should be thoroughly investigated by the New York Bar authorities for ethical violations,” said Paul Kamenar, counsel to NLPC who drafted the 15-page complaint.

Hoffman wished President Trump had been made an “actual martyr” at a Sun Valley gathering in summer 2024, just days before the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, then offered a non-apology that blamed the audience.

Two hours after the shooting, Hoffman’s chief political advisor, Dmitri Mehlhorn, who was the contact between Kaplan and Hoffman for the nonprofit group, urged reporters to consider whether the assassination attack was “staged.”

NLPC has repeatedly called for Hoffman to leave Microsoft’s Board of Directors for his misfeasance. He recently announced that he would not run for re-election.
