The Warhammer 40,000 app has been updated for the new edition, and it’s better than ever. Ever wanted to use it to track your game scores or see your opponent’s army list and rules as you play? Now you can.

This app is your stalwart companion for playing Warhammer 40,000, giving you the full Core Rules and loads of extra tools at your fingertips, whether you’re tinkering with your army list or looking up what Cleave does as an Ork Warlord barrels towards you.
The War Journal is one of the biggest additions to date, keeping all of your game-side organisation in one place so you can focus on proper Warhammer action. You can generate missions based on your Force Dispositions, choose your terrain layout and deployment maps, and track your victory points throughout the game.
Another improvement is the ability to see your opponent’s army list and rules, on your own device, while you play. Simply sync up your devices, and you’ll be able to reference their datasheets, rules, and stratagems throughout the game – so no more getting caught out by a sudden advance-and-charge when you thought you were safe.
To facilitate the new upgrades, the Battle Forge army builder has also been fully updated with the new detachments and Force Dispositions, including all of the updated points from the Munitorum Field Manual.
All of your unlocked Codex content will still be there too, so you can get list planning right away.
The app has also been integrated with Best Coast Pairings – so you can submit your roster and scores directly to BCP using your MyWarhammer account.
Download the Warhammer 40,000 app today at the App Store and Google Play Store, or update it if you already have it on your device.
The New Munitorum Field Manual
While we’re on the topic of the Munitorum Field Manual, you’ll also see that the version here on Warhammer Community has changed too.
Rather than a PDF that gets replaced with each update, there’s now an online version available:
The new version includes the unit and upgrade points values; a list of which squads your leader and support characters can join; and the Detachment Points and Force Dispositions for your detachments.
There’s also a language selector, and even a light/dark mode for those who like an especially grim dark view.
What to expect in the MFM
There are a few themes to the points changes, which are primarily driven by changes in the core rules.
Each time the Warhammer 40,000 app updates, the online Munitorum Field Manual will update at the same time.
Happy gaming!
