A 26-year-old Algerian illegal migrant with a rap sheet longer than his time in Spain stomped a local Spanish man’s head into the pavement in broad daylight in Valencia. The victim, Arturo, lies in a coma fighting for his life. The attacker should never have been in the country.
Amateur video captured the sickening moment in the Sant Marcel·lí neighborhood last Friday evening. Arturo, aged 46, already had a cast on one arm, and is waiting for a kidney and pancreas transplant—when Said Leksili set upon him.
Leksili punched and kicked the downed Spaniard repeatedly, driving his foot into Arturo’s head with such force that dust rose from the asphalt.

Bystanders eventually intervened. Emergency crews rushed Arturo first to Hospital Doctor Peset, then to the ICU at Hospital La Fe with a severe brain hemorrhage, cranioencephalic trauma, multiple rib fractures, and nasal fractures.
He remains in critical condition after emergency surgery.
Local police arrested Leksili on the scene. He was shirtless, agitated, and screaming.
Reports indicate that the 26-year-old Algerian, born in 2000, entered Spain illegally by patera in 2020 via the Balearic route. He spent 48 hours in a temporary holding center and was released.
He has lived in a makeshift shack in Valencia ever since. Court records show 18 detentions since his arrival—six of them for violent crimes in the city over the last three years, including injuries and robbery with violence. He has used dual identities, sometimes registering as Moroccan, to dodge consequences. An expulsion order to Algeria existed and was never enforced.
When brought before Judge Tarodo Ortí, Leksili told his lawyer he “had drunk a lot” and “does not remember anything.” The magistrate ordered provisional prison on charges of attempted homicide, citing the cruelty of the attack. Prosecutors are treating it as attempted homicide; the private accusation is seeking attempted murder.
This is not an isolated horror. It is the predictable result of Spain’s open-border experiment under far left PM Pedro Sánchez. Mass amnesties, non-enforcement of deportations, and the systematic release of repeat foreign offenders have turned Spanish streets into free-fire zones for the very people the system refuses to remove.
