More from the Boston Herald:
Emerald allegedly brandished a sword during his arrest, and multiple bladed weapons were seized from his home, the feds said.
Last year, Emerald allegedly made eight Facebook posts in which he threatened to injure the president.
Among his alleged posts:
“When I see to it that Trump is put to death. It will be the the day the purpose creation put me here for beyond creating. My daughter is fulfilled. (because what she is destined to do for the world is far greater than mine, taking out the orange menace!)”
“Oh, I’m not just watching!! Either Trump is dead and in the ground by 2026 or I am hunting him down and putting him there. Do you hear that FBI and any other organization that wants to show up at my (expletive) door? Put the enemy of the United States in a (expletive) body bag or I will.”
“Cause and effect. Trump being a monster to humanity caused this family suffering, and they might never choose to have children because of him Affect we’re going to (expletive) kill Trump on public television so the world sees what we do to (expletive) monsters and then we’re gonna hang him from the Statue of Liberty until his pathetic bloated corpse rots off falls in the ocean, and I swept out the to see with humanities trash. After what I just heard if Trump is not dead by 2026 I’m going to Mar-a-Lago and I’m going after myself.”
“The charge of interstate transmission of threatening communications provides for a sentence of up to five years in prison, three years of supervised release and a fine of $250,000,” the release continued.
“Sentences are imposed by a federal district court judge based upon the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and statutes which govern the determination of a sentence in a criminal case,” it added.

Daily Mail shared further:
He claimed the President was a ‘Russian asset’ in another outburst two days later, and on May 30 threatened to burn down Mar-a-Lago.
‘I’ll make sure you’re at Mar-a-Lago when I burn it to the f***ing ground,’ he wrote.
The rants continued as recently as Tuesday, with Emerald referring to the President as a ‘mad a** authoritarian king.’
On March 21, he posted a scene from the 2025 action movie Captain America: Brave New World showing the White House engulfed in flames.
Emerald, who appears in Facebook posts alongside a young girl believed to be his daughter, has claimed he does not suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome, a term for pathological hatred of the President popularized by his supporters.
Trump has been repeatedly targeted by political extremists, including two assassination attempts during the last presidential election campaign.
