It’s easier to destroy things than to actually run them. The greatest Islamic accomplishments always involve wrecking things, not actually building them, looting the work of other civilizations and then claiming credit for them. Flying planes into the World Trade Center is one thing, trying to actually run the city is quite another.
After racking up a sizable death toll when the temperatures dropped somewhat (it was colder than usual by New York City standards, but nothing anyone from outside the five boroughs would freak out over), Zohran Mamdani reacted to the latest snowstorm by declaring a ‘travel ban’.
Good thing I got out a decade ago.
Declaring ‘states of emergency’ mainly shows a lack of preparation and considering that the last time winter showed up, New York City became a wasteland of trash and corpses, Mamdani is doing what political theater kids do and putting on a show. He has his customized jacket with a huge logo and the word ‘MAYOR’ in large letters so everyone knows who he is while surrounded by people who don’t know which end of a snow shovel to use and he’s making videos for social media because he doesn’t know what to do when faced with problems that can’t be addressed by…
1. Calling for more equity
2. Blaming capitalism
3. Funding community groups
4. Blaming Israel
5. Defunding the police
6. Promoting Islam
It’s a useful toolkit, but all it’s good for is destroying civilization. It doesn’t help with the snow.
