May 13 (UPI) — Sheriff’s deputies in Ohio were dispatched to wrangle an unusual and extremely non-native animal: a loose zebra named Zack.

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office said on social media that the zebra was spotted Tuesday wandering loose in the area of Montgomery Road.

Deputies were able to locate the animal’s owner, who revealed the zebra’s name is Zack.

The African equine was safely returned to his owner’s property.

The sheriff’s office said it was “not your average Tuesday.”
