Dubai-based global supply chain and port manager DP World’s Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem stepped down from his role as group Chairman and CEO following the release of his name in the Epstein Files, which had previously been redacted by the Department of Justice.
DP World announced the Sultan’s resignation from the board on Friday, “effective immediately.” The company further announced the appointment of a new chairman and CEO.
After the DOJ gave members of Congress access to view unredacted Epstein Files, Representatives Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Ro Khanna (D-CA) discovered that the DOJ had improperly redacted the names of Epstein’s affiliates, potentially in violation of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which passed the House and Senate almost unanimously and was approved by Trump in November.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, the Department of Justice recently redacted the names of six men who were likely implicated in the Epstein files, including one who was listed as an Epstein coconspirator.
Khanna revealed the names on the House Floor on Tuesday as Salvatore Nuara, Zurab Mikeladze, Leonic Leonov, Nicola Caputo, Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, and Leslie Wexner.

Prior to this, Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem was revealed to have received a disturbing email from Epstein in April 2009, which read, "where are you? are you ok , I loved the torture video."
Rep. Thomas Massie revealed on X that the email from Epstein was sent to a Sultan, without revealing the Sultan's name.
A Sultan seems to have sent this.

The two appear to have maintained a close relationship through the years even after Epstein was convicted on soliciting prostitution from a minor charges in 2008.
In one 2013 email exchange, the Sultan writes to the late pedophile, "All I know for sure, is that you are one of my most trusted friends in very sense of the word, you have never let me down , not once, not half of once. and I greatly appreciate the time we spend together."
"Thank you, my friend, I am off the sample, a fresh 100% female Russian at my yacht," Epstein writes in response, to which the Sultan replies with a crude joke about the subject's anatomy.
Other files appear to show correspondence between the two as recently as 2017.
