The vast majority of Democrats disgraced themselves during President Trump’s State of the Union address on Tuesday night.
During the speech, most Democrats refused to stand when President Trump honored Iryna Zarutska’s family, Erika Kirk, and multiple veterans.
Sen. Fetterman was one of just a few Democrats who actually showed some respect by standing and clapping.
And now, he’s calling out other members of his party for refusing to do so.

“Even Erika Kirk. Can’t we just be more kind to a WIDOW? How can’t we acknowledge that?”
“I clapped for the family that lost the Ukrainian girl…the Venezuelan political prisoner…the veterans.”
“I’ll always clap for things I agree with, like striking the Iranian sites.”
“And if I don’t agree, I certainly won’t yell, scream and disrupt the whole thing.”
Folks, this is called acting like a normal American.
It shouldn’t be controversial to honor veterans who fight for our nation or people who lost innocent loved ones.
That’s just basic human decency.

Not every Democrat was even present at the State of the Union, by the way.
Many of them ‘protested’ by holding alternative events.
As expected, these counter-events were incredibly cringe. One even featured some dancing frogs…

It’s notable that Sen. Fetterman, who normally wears casual hoodies, showed up to the State of the Union in a suit.

He was also the only Democrat who greeted President Trump and shook his hand.

The Hill reported:
Fetterman, who has sided with Republicans on several hot-button issues, shook the president’s hand as he entered the floor Tuesday evening. The senator told Fox he believes he was the only Democrat to do so.
“Yes, I shook his hand, of course,” Fetterman said. “He walked in, and I’m always going to do that, for sure.”
Maybe it’s time for Fetterman to finally switch parties?
