InfoWars host Chase Geiser swatted for second time in 24 hours

“They realized that the first SWAT was not the outcome that they wanted, and so they escalated what the claims were on the call so there would be a more intense police response.”

Less than 24 hours after being swatted on Tuesday, InfoWars host Chase Geiser said that he was awoken early Wednesday morning by police after a second swatting attempt. This comes after InfoWars reporter Jamie White was fatally shot in the parking lot of his apartment complex late Sunday.

“I was just swatted again moments ago, just before 2 am. 6 to 8 police officers used a PA system to call me by name and order me to walk out of my house,” Geiser wrote early Wednesday morning. “I was handcuffed in the middle of the street, presumably by gunpoint though I couldn’t tell because of the light being shined on my face.”

“I was then led into the house where my wife was woken up and we were informed that they received a call from someone pretending to be me and threatening to kill my family,” he added.

Geiser posted footage taken outside his home of police calling to him. “Chase, are you inside?” a police officer called over the PA system. “Chase, can you step out with your hands up?” Geiser was seen walking backwards towards police with his hands on his head after exiting the home before being handcuffed.

Speaking with Alex Jones on his show Wednesday, Geiser said that he decided to stay up in the front room of his house on Tuesday night following the first swatting attempt to “keep an eye on things” because he had a “feeling that this was not going to be the last of it.”

“So it’s around 1 am and I noticed that there were police SUVs driving around, because I have a big window in the front, and I thought they were maybe just doing like a wellness check on the house since we had that SWAT call earlier, and so I just kind of ignored it, and I left the window blinds open on purpose so they could see me just peacefully sitting in there.”

He said that as he was setting up some electronics, “all of a sudden I just hear on the loudspeaker, ‘Chase, are you home? Chase, are you in the residence?'”

He said that he opened the front door of his house, placing his hands out first, but closed the door again when he realized his dog was unsecured. “I figured if they come in this house and this dog is loose, he’s very aggressive, this dog’s gonna get shot.”

He then went to exit the house again, and could not see how many cops were at his house due to the flood lights. After reviewing footage, he saw that they were “going through the neighbor’s yard in the back, they’re knocking on the neighbor’s doors, asking if they can look through, look out their windows, or turn their porch lights on. So all my neighbors are alerted that I’m being swatted. Nobody has any idea what’s going on and I’m just walking out slowly. Never been arrested, never even been handcuffed before in my life.”

He said he explained to officers after being handcuffed that he worked for InfoWars and that this was the second time he was being swatted in a span of 24 hours.

He said that they went inside and asked to wake up everyone in the house. Geiser requested that they not wake up his young children. After seeing that his wife was okay, they removed the handcuffs and answered questions.

He said that, unlike the first swatting, the person called pretending to be him. In the first attempt, the person responsible texted. “They realized that the first SWAT was not the outcome that they wanted, and so they escalated what the claims were on the call so there would be a more intense police response.”
