Google’s annual developer conference is finally here. Google I/O 2026 kicks off today with a keynote we expect to feature announcements across Gemini AI and Google’s broader ecosystem. Things are scheduled to get started at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT) and could last a couple of hours.
If you’re unable to watch live, we’ll be live-blogging the entire keynote right here. That includes updates from our own Amy Skorheim, who’s on the ground at the event in Mountain View, California. We don’t know exactly what to expect yet, though AI is sure to be featured heavily. One thing we know won’t feature prominently are Android updates — Google covered all of those with its Android Show I/O Edition last week. There’s also a chance we could see some hardware, though that’s never a guarantee for Google I/O.
How to watch Google I/O 2026
The Google I/O keynote is set to start at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT) on May 19. As with all major Google events, it’ll be streaming live on YouTube, and we’re including the livestream here so you can follow along. Our live blog will also go live shortly before the event begins so you can catch up with all of the announcements as they happen.
