Dec. 2 (UPI) — A French daredevil with a passion for bungee jumping earned his second Guinness World Record for the sport by jumping at 16 different commercial bungee jumping sites over the course of eight years.

François-Marie Dibon earned his first record by bungee jumping 765 times in one day at Highland Fling Bungee in Killiecrankie, Scotland, in 24 hours — a rate of more than one jump every two minutes.

Dibon has now earned a second record: the most commercial bungee jumping sites visited. He jumped at 16 different commercial bungee jumping locations over the course of eight years.

The locations were Austria’s Rupert Hirner Bungy Jumping; Canada’s Great Canadian Bungee and Whistler Bungee; Denmark’s Bungy Jump Copenhagen; Finland’s Sky Breakers; Mexico’s Bungy Teques, IBO Adventures and Wild Canyon; Nepal’s The Last Resort, Norway’s Telemark Opplevelser, South Africa’s Bloukrans Bungy, Sweden’s Bungy STHLM, Switzerland’s 007 Bungy Verzasca, Britain’s Highland Fling Bungee and U.K. Bungee Club; and Zambia’s Shearwater Bungee.

The daredevil said his jumps also raised money for the Catholic charity group Caritas.

“While living my passion, I want to serve a good cause with the moto: ‘Give as much as I jump,'” he told Guinness World Records.
