An illegal immigrant disarmed a Boston US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent during a targeted enforcement operation on Wednesday in Massachusetts. The subject pulled a firearm out of an agent’s holster during a chaotic scuffle as he resisted arrest, video shows.

Federal law enforcement sources told The Post Millennial that the subject is a previously deported criminal foreign national. The incident occurred on Main Street in Everett, MA, a town located just north of the sanctuary city of Boston.

Video footage taken by a bystander captured the intense physical confrontation. Multiple ICE officers could be observed subduing the resisting subject on the ground beside a pickup truck on a residential street.

“Stop resisting! Stop resisting,” ICE agents yelled out to the migrant, pinning the subject on the pavement as he wrestled with officers.

“He’s grabbing your gun! He’s grabbing your gun,” an ICE officer shouted moments later. Sources said the subject pulled a firearm out of an arresting officer’s holster. The video shows an ICE officer taking the firearm out of the migrant’s possession as other agents remained on top of him.

Officers maintained physical control during the volatile situation. Hostile bystanders also gathered at the scene, harassing ICE agents as they worked to apprehend the subject, according to video. The subject was ultimately taken into custody and faces fresh criminal charges, sources said.

Earlier in the day, the Boston ICE Field Office arrested a Salvadoran illegal alien MS-13 gang member who had a red notice. He faces up to 45 years in prison in his home country for his involvement in the foreign terrorist organization, sources said.

The subject had been hiding out in the sanctuary state before ICE closed in on him.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reported a 1,300 percent increase in violence against federal immigration officers since President Trump returned to the White House in January 2025 and enacted mass deportation operations.

Governor of Massachusetts Maura Healey and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu have both faced increased scrutiny from Congress and the Trump White House over their sanctuary policies aimed at shielding illegal immigrants from ICE. This includes releasing criminal illegal immigrants from jail without notifying ICE and prohibiting ICE from obtaining undercover license plates to interfere with immigration enforcement operations, among others.

Members of the public can report immigration-related crimes or suspicious activity by calling (866-347-2423) or completing the online tip form.
