March 19 (UPI) — A Delaware woman crossed the border into Maryland and bought a scratch-off lottery ticket that earned her a $100,000 prize.

The New Castle County woman told Maryland Lottery officials she was giving new nephew a ride to Maryland when she stopped at the Royal Farms store on North Bohemia Avenue in Cecilton and bought a $10 Silver Bell Bucks ticket.

“When I have a little change, I like to play,” the winner said. “It was just one of those days I felt like playing.”

The ticket turned out to be a $100,000 top prize winner.

The woman visited Maryland Lottery headquarters to collect her prize on March 18. She said she is still considering what to do with her winnings, but she believes her family will be involved.

“I don’t know yet,” she said. “Thank you, Lord.”
