BREAKING: Two US Navy fighter jets collide during air show in Idaho

Two US Naval fighter jets collided in midair at the Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho during an air show on Sunday.

Rescue crews responded to the scene on Sunday, according to the Idaho Statesman. The crews on board the planes were “able to eject,” an announcer said at the scene.

“We had four good parachutes,” the air shower announcer told the crowd present. “The crews were able to eject. They’re located one mile south of where the smoke is. The parachutes came down.”

“Crash fire rescue and various other emergency services are on their way to the pilots and crew. There were four good parachutes. That is always a positive in our world. If you are so inclined to take the time now to say a prayer,” and announcer said in a follow-up statement.
