The FBI has offered a reward of up to $50,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect.
The Providence police Department on Tuesday released a new image of the suspected gunman wanted for killing two and injuring nine others in a mass shooting at Brown University on Saturday. The image shows a person walking down the street wearing black pants, a dark two-toned jacket, a face mask, a beanie, and a bag.
This comes after authorities released additional footage and photos of the suspect on Monday. The FBI has offered a reward of up to $50,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect.
On Saturday afternoon, a gunman broke into a lecture hall on Brown University’s campus in Rhode Island and opened fire, killing two people and injuring nine. Police have said that there is no surveillance footage from the engineering building where the economics study session in the lecture hall was taking place. The two students killed have been identified as sophomore Republican Club vice president Ella Cook and freshman Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov, who immigrated to the US with his family from Uzbekistan as a child.
