InfoWars reporter Jamie White was found unresponsive late Sunday night in what authorities are investigating as a murder. He was pronounced dead after being taken to a local hospital.
Austin Police Department officers responded to a high-priority emergency call at approximately 11:57 p.m. in the 2300 block of Douglas Street.
Officers arrived about two minutes later and found White, a male victim, with “obvious signs of trauma,” according to APD Public Information Officer Leah Ratliff.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not confirmed the nature of White’s injuries or released information about potential suspects. This marks Austin’s eighth homicide of the year.
Ratliff stated, “This is pretty early on in the investigation, and the homicide unit will be releasing more information as they’re able,” reports CBS.
A statement from InfoWars’s Alex Jones confirmed White’s death, vowing that those responsible would be brought to justice. “Jamie’s tragic death will not be in vain, and those responsible for this senseless violence will be brought to justice.” Jones blamed “Soros Austin, TX D.A. Jose Garza” partially for the murder.
White, who was working late at the InfoWars studios Sunday night, was found at his home just a few miles from the studio. “Jamie loved to fight tyranny, loved to fight freedom,” said Jones.

Jones also highlighted how Austin police forces had been defunded and how the Austin mayor lied about this. “He did a press conference bragging,” Jones said.
“…This is Jose Garza. Literally in Zoom meetings calls other city employees ‘comrades,’ so just look at this guy. He’s doing exactly what he was put in by Soros to do. I lay all of this squarly at the feed of these DAs. and of the Soros crime syndicate,” Jones continued, also pinning it on the Democratic party.
“They’re the ones who administratively cut the police, prosecute the police, and even cases that are one-hundred percent clear to me, waffle legal activities and then you wonder why we can’t get enough police and there’s giant shortages and you wonder why the quality goes down.
“Despite Austin being a war zone at night in many areas, the police were there in two minutes and got him to the hospital in just 15, 20. He was announced dead there. That’s service. You can’t do your job when you don’t have enough people,” Jones said.
