Army offers $5,000 reward for arrest of Fort Campbell drone thieves

The Department of the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. 

The Army is offering a $5,000 reward for information regarding the late 2025 theft of four drones from Kentucky’s Fort Campbell. 

The fort said that the four Skydio X10D Drone Systems were last seen on the morning of November 21, 2025, at the 326th Division Engineer Building 6955. “Between November 21-24, 2025, unknown persons unlawfully gained access to building 6955 and took them.”

The Department of the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. 

The Criminal Investigation Division released two images of the suspects believed to be involved in the theft, as well as two vehicles. One suspect appeared to be wearing a dark colored sweatshirt, blue pants, and a head covering, as well as gloves. The other is wearing a dark sweatshirt, dark pants, a black face covering, and a dark hat. One of the vehicles is a light colored four door sedan, while the second is a dark colored four door truck.

Per the Military Times, “Skydio X10D are small unmanned aerial drone systems that can be used by the military for battlefield intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance. The systems can also use artificial intelligence to avoid obstacles in flight.”
