Thomas “Amelia” Connolly, a trans sex worker and former DEI officer for the youth wing of the Scottish Green Party, says it wasn’t his fault he was sent the A.I.-generated sexual images of children.
A Scottish woke trans activist tied to left-wing politics has pleaded guilty to creating sexualized A.I.-generated indecent images of children.
Amelia Connolly, 23, a sex worker and former DEI officer for the youth wing of the Scottish Green Party, admitted guilt to the crime in Falkirk Sheriff Court on Wednesday. This journalist can exclusively report that Connolly’s real name is Thomas Connolly.
Prosecutors said the case began after police received a tip and obtained a search warrant to raid Connolly’s home in Alloa, Clackmannanshire, on Dec. 5, 2024.
Prosecutor Ronnie Hay told the court that police seized Connolly’s mobile phone during the search. A forensic examination uncovered four AI-generated images depicting a child in sexualized poses.

Three of the images were classified as Category B — the mid-range level of severity for child sexual abuse material — while one was Category C. Prosecutors said some of the imagery also depicted explicit sexual activity.
All of the images were created on Oct. 30, 2024, and were accessible on his phone, the court heard.

During court proceedings, Connolly, who sometimes uses a wheelchair, initially appeared confused about the charges before confirming a guilty plea to creating the images. A separate charge related to the possession of child sex abuse content was effectively dropped.
Connolly has a disturbing social media profile that mixes adult and children’s content. On the same Linktree page that promotes his Roblox game group, he also shares a link to his OnlyFans.

After pleading guilty, Connolly took to Facebook to release a video claiming he was being targeted by “hate groups” and that it wasn’t his fault someone sent him the images.
“They [the law] have the resources to convict people for having an AI image, a pseudo image,” Connolly said. “It’s not even real people.”
On his blog, he wrote about previously being accused of being in a romantic relationship with a 15-year-old. He denied the claim and said they were “just close friends” who worked on a Roblox supermarket together.

Users on the Tattle Life forums have long accused Connolly of alleged predatory behavior.
“He is really well known amongst kids for building some Roblox supermarket thing and now he is promoting his OF [OnlyFans] to his underage following…genuinely disgusting,” wrote one user in 2024.
“My younger sister plays Roblox and was in Amelia’s group,” another user wrote. “Amelia would constantly message her and it was just creepy, my sister is 13 luckily I quickly blocked Amelia from everything.”

Despite his checkered history, Connolly was embraced by left-wing and queer activist groups.
In addition to being a DEI officer with the Scottish Young Greens and having met woke former Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, he was a leader in Stirling Pride.
The groups have removed Connolly’s name from their sites.
Connolly’s case comes amid growing debate over the use of A.I. to create sexual images depicting minors and whether that is legally considered illegal child sex abuse content or merely illustrations.
Sheriff Simon Collins, the judge, deferred sentencing until May 1 to allow for background and risk assessment reports. Connolly has no prior criminal history and remains out on bail.
