With Android 17 QPR2 Beta 3’s surprise Friday drop, Google is introducing expanded Dynamic Color theming options for Pixel devices.
Go to Wallpaper & style and then “Colors” to find these updated theming options. The paint palette icon above the carousel lets you access a “Select a color” slider to choose the main accent. You were previously limited to preset options.
The corner pencil icon on the main page lets you further choose between Neutral, Soft, Bright, and Bold themes.
These expanded options were first introduced in Android Canary 2606 this June. Android 17 QPR2 is expected to get a stable launch in December.
