In a resounding affirmation of conservative principles and leadership, Republicans Randy Fine and Jimmy Patronis emerged victorious in Florida’s special elections on Tuesday.

Trump-endorsed Randy Fine clinched the 6th Congressional District seat, succeeding Mike Waltz, who vacated the position to serve as President Donald Trump’s national security adviser.

Despite being massively outspent—Weil raised over $9 million compared to Fine’s under $1 million—Fine’s victory demonstrates that the electorate values principles over political spending.

“RANDY FINE WINS!!!” President Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The president added, “Congratulations Randy, a great WIN against a massive CASH AVALANCHE.”

Jimmy Patronis, Florida’s Chief Financial Officer, secured a decisive win in the 1st Congressional District, a region encompassing the westernmost part of the Florida Panhandle.

This seat became vacant following the resignation of former Representative Matt Gaetz, who was initially nominated for U.S. Attorney General by President Donald Trump but later withdrew his candidacy.

Despite facing a well-funded Democratic challenger, Gay Valimont—a gun control activist who significantly outspent Patronis—Patronis clinched the victory with a commanding 57% of the vote.

“Jimmy Patronis WINS BIG! Congratulations Jimmy,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Trump added, “BOTH FLORIDA HOUSE SEATS HAVE BEEN WON, BIG, BY THE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE. THE TRUMP ENDORSEMENT, AS ALWAYS, PROVED FAR GREATER THAN THE DEMOCRATS FORCES OF EVIL. CONGRATULATIONS TO AMERICA!!!”

President Donald Trump’s endorsement played a pivotal role in both victories.

Following the special elections in Florida’s 1st and 6th Congressional Districts, the composition of the U.S. House of Representatives stands at 220 Republicans and 213 Democrats, with two seats remaining vacant.

These vacancies are due to the recent deaths of Democratic Representatives Sylvester Turner of Texas’s 18th District and Raúl Grijalva of Arizona’s 7th District. Special elections to fill these seats have yet to be scheduled.
