Nakana.io, which has previously published a bunch of games on Nintendo Switch, has announced that the studio is shutting down and has started up a new sale on the eShop.
The one bit of good news is that the titles aren’t going anywhere. Nakana.io intends to transfer the games to their original developers, so they’ll still be sold on the Nintendo eShop in the future.
Nakana.io wrote on social media:
Hi folks. Some bittersweet news: we’ll soon say goodbye, and transfer our published titles to their developers this autumn. The games will continue to be distributed by them and that’s the most important, and the legacy we’re proud of. Thank you so much all who supported us.
Right now all of the company’s games are on sale for just $2, which is already very cheap. On top of that, if you already own a Nakana.io title or buy the first one for $2, you can get everything for just ten cents.
