Sony and S-GAME have confirmed the State of Play deep dive into Phantom Blade Zero will debut next week, across the late evening or early morning of 17th August and 18th August, depending on your time zone.
The showcase will feature almost 20 minutes of gameplay, as it goes deeper on what’s teased in a brand new 11-minute trailer to mark pre-orders going live on the PS Store. The base version costs £54.99 / $59.99, while a Digital Deluxe Edition offering early outfit and accessory unlocks as well as a digital artbook and soundtrack will be £64.99 / $69.99.
Here’s that new trailer to get you ready for State of Play next week:
“Today’s new extended trailer isn’t enough to cover our intricate gameplay systems, dynamic combat, and the dark wuxia land we call the Phantom World,” said founder Soulframe Liang on the PlayStation Blog. “That’s why our upcoming State of Play takes a much closer look at what you can expect from Phantom Blade Zero.”
Next week’s Phantom Blade Zero-focused State of Play livestream will take place at the following times worldwide:
- North America: 7pm (Mon) PDT / 8pm (Mon) MDT / 9pm (Mon) CDT / 10pm (Mon) EDT
- UK/Ire: 3am BST
- Europe: 4am CEST / 5am EEST
- Asia/Oceania: 11am JST / 10am AWST / 12pm AEST
Phantom Blade Zero launches for PS5 on 29th October 2026, and the new trailer also shares the new action title features Donnie Yen from the martial arts movie series Ip Man. He has lent his facial likeness and motion capture to Mó Yuan, the main character’s father.
