The FBI has assigned 260 investigative analysts to assist with its ongoing investigation into the fraud that took place in Fulton County, Georgia, during the 2020 presidential election.
According to an internal FBI memorandum obtained by The New York Times, the analysts have been tasked with completing approximately 708 records checks by July 17th.
The memo describes the operation as a priority for FBI Director Kash Patel. The specific records under review have not been disclosed.
The expanded effort follows the FBI’s raid on a Fulton County election warehouse.
Back in January, federal agents seized more than 600 boxes of election materials, including original 2020 ballots, as part of a Justice Department investigation.
No criminal charges have been filed and federal authorities have released few details about the scope of the investigation.
The FBI and Fulton County officials have so far declined to comment on the latest developments.
The Justice Department has also sought the identities of every worker involved in administering the 2020 election in Fulton County.
County officials challenged that request in court and a judge temporarily blocked the disclosure while litigation continues.
The internal memo states that overtime, including weekends and holidays, has been authorized to complete the review.
Fulton County Commission Chairman Robb Pitts complained about the expanded review, calling it a “Hail Mary” and saying he had not been informed of the move.
Georgia’s RINO Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger, insisted that his office “runs the most secure elections in the nation,” but said he would assist the investigation.
“Our office stands ready to assist law enforcement in any investigation that will reassure Georgians that their votes are cast securely and counted accurately,” he said.

The personnel assigned are investigative analysts specializing in records examinations rather than FBI special agents.
It currently remains unclear what evidence they have uncovered or whether the investigation is expected to result in criminal charges.
