Brand new direct-feed Elden Ring Nintendo Switch 2 footage released – Nintendo Everything

After much anticipation, Elden Ring Tarnished Edition received its release date on Nintendo Switch 2 yesterday, and now we have some direct-feed footage to follow up on that.

What’s interesting is how little we’ve seen of the port so far. We got the announcement trailer for the reveal of Nintendo Switch 2 exactly one year ago, but that was it.

It’s been up to media outlets to supplement things from there. Last summer, the first off-screen footage emerged. We then saw more handheld gameplay featuring an improved build back in March.

While this is well documented at this point, Elden Ring was originally slated for last year on Nintendo Switch 2. FromSoftware decided to take quite a bit of extra time to get the game’s performance to a much more stable level, so it was pushed out of 2025.

It’s not much, but as mentioned above, we do have new direct-feed gameplay. FromSoftware posted a brief video on the official website following the release date announcement. There’s no audio, but it’s our best look at the port so far. From what we can tell, there aren’t any big performance issues.

Have a look at the Elden Ring Tarnished Edition footage on Nintendo Switch 2 below.
