WASHINGTON, D.C. — The prestigious White House Homeowners Association (WHHOA) has formally demanded that President Donald J. Trump remove the massive UFC Thunderdome constructed on the South Lawn, calling the steel octagon a “flagrant violation” of community standards.
In a letter dated yesterday and hand-delivered by two stern board members wearing pastel cardigans, the WHHOA cited breaches of Section 3.1 (No Commercial Entertainment Facilities), Section 8.7 (Prohibited Noise and Light Pollution), and Section 14.2 (Maintaining Colonial Aesthetic Integrity).
“The Thunderdome is simply not in keeping with the historic character of our neighborhood,” wrote HOA President Eleanor Vandermeer.
“At 85 feet tall with pyrotechnics and capacity for 12,000 screaming spectators, it far exceeds the approved size for backyard recreational structures. Neighbors in Blair House and the Ellipse have lodged repeated complaints about ‘U-S-A’ chants at 2 a.m. and the odor of protein shakes and regret.”
The association has issued an initial fine of $250. Additional penalties of $100 per day will apply if the octagon is not fully dismantled within 30 days.
President Trump, reached between rounds on the South Lawn, called the notice “ridiculous, a total witch hunt by the same low-energy people who probably want everyone fighting with pillows.”
“This is the greatest Thunderdome ever built — anywhere. On the White House lawn, no less. Tremendous crowds. The best crowds,” Trump said.
“Better than Vegas. Better than anywhere. They should be thanking me for bringing excitement to this sleepy neighborhood.”
Construction records show the Thunderdome was erected in under three weeks using “the finest American steel.”
Recent events have reportedly drawn sitting congressmen, visiting dignitaries, and at least one Supreme Court justice who stayed for the main card.
WHHOA Enforcement Chair Reginald P. Worthington III defended the action.
“This is a covenant-controlled community,” he stated. “The rules are the rules. Even if you’re President. Especially if you’re President.”
Sources close to the administration say Trump is weighing several responses: tearing up the letter on camera, renaming it the “Presidential Freedom Thunderdome,” or moving the entire structure three feet left “for technical compliance.”
The $250 fine was paid immediately — in quarters, each one bearing a small “Trump 2024” sticker.
