May 14 (UPI) — Police in New Mexico are reminding residents to keep food out of reach of wildlife after a bear was caught on camera enjoying an “all-you can eat breakfast buffet” of bird seed.
The Red River Marshal’s Office said on social media that a resident on Silver Bell captured video of the early-morning visitor feasting on bird seed from a bowl on the porch on Wednesday.
“Looks like someone found the all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet on Silver Bell this morning,” the post said.
The marshal’s office joked the bear left a “5-star review” of the home: “Great service. Zero effort required. Will absolutely be back.”
The post said the incident should serve as a reminder for residents to “shut down the porch buffets before we end up fully booked with unwanted guests.”
