April 28 (UPI) — An Ohio woman bought three identical tickets for the same lottery drawing and ended up winning a trio of $50,000 prizes — a total windfall of $150,000.
The Toledo woman told Ohio Lottery officials she bought her tickets for the April 20 Pick 5 drawing from the Tamz Mart on Eleanor Avenue in Toledo.
The woman’s three tickets all bore the numbers 2-1-7-4-7, digits that the player said represent her mother’s birthday.
Each of the $1 straight bet tickets earned her a $50,000 prize, adding up to a total $150,000.
The winner said her prize money will go toward paying bills and saving for the future. She said she is also thinking of a way to treat herself.
