Under Obama, the motives of Muslim terrorists carrying out attacks was always unknown. Or as Barry liked to say, “let’s not jump to any conclusion.”
Now, even after the gunman’s motive was posted online, Obama is still doubling down on the same plausible deniability for the right sort of killers.
Obama tweeted, “although we don’t yet have the details about the motives behind last night’s shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner, it’s incumbent upon all us to reject the idea that violence has any place in our democracy.”
All of us. Both the ones being shot and the ones doing the shooting. We’re all responsible and we should all reject the idea that violence has any place in ‘our democracy’.
Also ‘get in their faces’.
When leftists do something wrong, it somehow becomes a collective sin detached from any specific locus. But when someone on the right is accused of doing something, well we all know that tune.
Meanwhile, we’re all still searching for the motive of the guy who did this. Maybe one day we’ll find out.
