Big news folks! On April 24 two new Sony cameras got registered in China and we now have a total of three registered cameras that Sony will announce within the next 2-3 months!

The first camera we’ll get is obviously the Sony A7R VI in May. The other model is a new FX camera, as it is produced in Shanghai, where other FX cameras are assembled (like the Sony FX2). The third camera has no Wi-Fi 6, which suggests it’s more of a compact or entry-level model. It could be a new APS-C camera or a new RX100 model! The good news is that I am already working on rumors about all these cameras so I will have some news soon!
What to expect
- In May we will get the Sony A7rVI (67MP, new body) the 100-400mm f/4.5 GM (internal zoom and Sony 50-150mm GM price)
- In June/July we will get the APS-C or RX100 camera
- In August (before the IBC show) we will get the new FX model. I think it’s the FX3II with partially stacked sensor (16 or 18MP)
And we ain’t done for the year. Another big Sony camera announcement will happen in November 😉 –
